Ibogaine is neither prohibited nor regulated in Mexico. That is not the same as legal-and-licensed: no authority sets clinical standards or inspects these facilities. Ibogaine prolongs the QT interval and has caused fatal arrhythmias, so cardiac screening, electrolyte correction and continuous monitoring are not optional extras.
