How this site makes money

Peyote.com does not sell or source any substance, and runs no programmatic advertising. This page lists every commercial relationship the site has, generated from the same registry the links are built from.

Retreat centres

  • Inclusion is never sold. A centre is listed under a published rule about the law where it operates, including a separate "Illegal but tolerated in practice" label for places where the medicine is prohibited but retreats operate openly with no reported prosecution, and the listing says which footing applies. Paying cannot add a centre, remove a public record or change what a profile says.
  • Featured placement is paid: $149 a month per centre (flat fee, billed monthly, cancel anytime). A featured centre is labelled "Featured" everywhere it appears, is placed first in the lists for its country or destination, and gets a profile with photos and links. Featured status never changes the safety notes, the legal-status information or any verification label. Any listed centre can buy it, including one with a public record (a reported death, a regulator action, a legal case or an allegation); that record stays on its profile in full and its listing is still marked "Public record". Featured centres right now: 0.
  • We do not sell leads. Centres pay no per-lead or per-enquiry fee, and Peyote.com earns nothing when a reader contacts a centre.
  • Enquiries are shared only with your consent. A reader can send an enquiry about a centre from its profile. It comes to Peyote.com. If, and only if, the reader ticks the box "Share my enquiry with [centre name] so they can reply to me directly" (unticked by default), we send it to that one named centre and no one else. Without the tick it stays with Peyote.com. The privacy policy sets out what is stored.
