The legal position in Oregon, USA
The Oregon Health Authority licenses psilocybin service centres, facilitators and manufacturers under ORS 475A. Psilocybin may be used only at a licensed service centre with a facilitator, with no take-home or retail sale, and only by adults 21 and over. Cities and counties can vote to ban psilocybin businesses locally. Psilocybin remains a Schedule I substance under federal law.

- Services are for adults only: ORS 475A.440 bars a licensee from selling or delivering a psilocybin product to a person under 21, and ORS 475A.495 bars anyone under 21 from entering licensed premises.
