This is a registry entry, not a published study. Biomind Labs registered a small phase 1/2 trial in Argentina testing a low, sublingual dose of 5-MeO-DMT (6 mg once a week for four weeks) against placebo in 20 older adults with mild cognitive impairment or early Alzheimer's disease who also had anxiety and depressive symptoms. Planned measures cover thinking skills, mood, anxiety and the intensity of any psychedelic experience. The registry lists the trial as completed in March 2025, but no results have been posted and no paper could be found. Until results appear, it tells you only that the question is being studied, not whether the drug helps or is safe in this group.
